Along with its laneways, Melbourne is also quite well known for its historic, Victorian-era walkways and arcades. Frozen in time, keeping their charm. Bringing modern and much needed speciality coffee to The Royal Arcade is Padre outpost Kit Espresso. Packed with character, a high ceiling, and a crafted wrought iron spiral staircase, which runs up the corner fo the small space: it's quite the site.

One gets the classic Padre offering of a delicious cup of coffee and attention to detail with every shot. They offer rotating espresso blends and single origin coffee for blacks and, of course, smooth and tasty filter. Of note, a custom made cold drip brewing device specifically designed to extract maximum potential from each roast. It simply must be sampled.

While mostly takeaway, there are some seats out in the arcade that are novel. A small bench inside invites the customer to relax and have a chat to the friendly Padre staff whilst they brew the coffee.
