With seemingly endless choices of shopping, food, and drink available in Toronto’s growing PATH network, it is exciting for coffee drinkers that specialty coffee is being properly represented as well. At a particularly busy bottleneck between First Canadian Place and Scotia Plaza, Pilot Coffee Roasters has moved into a wide space with a dense list of offerings.

A large retail wall at the entrance offers beans and brewing equipment, and next to this a refrigerator houses a grab-and-go selection of sandwiches and salads. Yellow design accents are all around the space with the most obvious being bar seating visible through the large front panes of glass. Healthy amounts of green foliage behind the bar act as a welcome reminder of the outdoors in the windowless confines of the PATH. Batch brew and espresso options are available with their familiar blends and as with all Pilot locations, cold brew is on offer year round by the glass or canned for takeaway.
