This is the first of the Sensory Lab stores to have its own space and they do not disappoint. Award winning design studio Foolscap have created a perfect little spot, tucked away from the bustling business district of Collins Street. The colour scheme itself, of white, cork, steel and greenery create a feeling of real tranquility. Japanese and mid-50’s American fusion have inspired a beautiful stainless steel Japanese style bar, designed to encourage open conversation between customer and staff along the whole length. 

The homage to mid 50’s America can also been seen with the cafe/bar-like tables and bench; they also even go as far as to use flat wall cups. If you’ve forgotten your paper, no problem: iPads line the bench so you can catch up on any news item while you sip your delicious single origin brew.

Being Sensory Lab, the coffee on rotation is always great, but do not overlook the Jaffle sandwiches there – very tasty closed triangle shaped toasted sandwiches for those that don't know – delicious. There are also some clean and flavoursome teas available on offer.
