Obadiah Coffee - El Oasis, Colombia - Christmas Special

This is our special rare release for Christmas. We hope you enjoy its sweet, cinnamon characteristics developed by an experimental fermentation method at the farm.

Grown at 1700-1800 masl

Grown by Luz Mila at Finca El Oasis, this coffee has been exposed to a dry anaerobic fermentation of 30 hours with the pulp on, during this fermentation tartaric acid and cinnamon is added. Afterwards, cherries are pulped and gently washed, and left to dry on raised beds to obtain 10.5% moisture content.

This coffee is produced by Luz Mila and her husband. They along with their 4 kids moved from Caqueta 8 years ago and decided to set up in Gaitania. Luz Mila purchased a farm and worked tirelessly for 5 years and despite the low commercial prices she was able to purchase another farm just 3 years ago. These days she is devoted to producing high quality micro-lots and with committed partners she is getting the premiums she deserves, we are proud to support this amazing woman.
