Editor's Letter - #4

We’ve had a busy couple of months here at Best Coffee; we now have over 1,500 cafés listed on the app in over 50 cities (and towns).

There are some new features on the app; we’ve added something called ‘On our Radar’ which you can read about here, and we’ve made some changes to the usability, so you can more easily recognise when you have active filters.

Most of the coffee illuminati were at World of Coffee, in Amsterdam, late last month for the World Barista Championships. In case you didn’t see all of our Instagram posts and features on the website and app, we interviewed most of the competitors and you can still read these in our news section. Congratulations to Agnieszka Rojewska, who not only became the 2018 World Barista Champion but also made history as the first woman to win the WBCs.

The Coffee House Project, taking place in Bristol on 7th-8th September, has now officially launched and you can purchase tickets on their website. We are excited to announce that we will be their podcast sponsor and you can catch me locked in a booth hosting the podcast over the two days.

Keep an eye out for more news, updates, and the occasional competition over on our Instagram @bestcoffeeapp.
