Reached via a courtyard, Bonanza’s roastery should really be at the top of any list of ‘must-visit’ cafes in Berlin. It’s impossibly well put together, the design enough to distract you from the quality of the coffee. Really, it feels like one of those high-end Manhattan clothing shops where everything has been handled perfectly. Fortunately, this is a well-run ship, and the baristas are always as kind as they are skilled. The roastery may be viewed from the cafe area and a generous outdoor area provides space to relax with friends. Look out for Choti, Bonanza’s canine mascot, scurrying around the shop.
