Café Pascal

Norrtullsgatan 4, 113 29 Stockholm, Sweden

Editor's Review

Cafe Pascal sits nestled into the hillside of an observatory park in the Vasastan part of Stockholm. Cafe Pascal is a local speciality coffee establishment very well known to the community as a frequent and generous venue for local coffee events. Serving a set of house coffees from Love Coffee in Lund, but also a varied selection of top flight guest roasters from across Europe on both espresso and filter.

Espresso options are made very well by their passionate baristas with a choice of their house blend from Love coffee, or a guest roaster and presented beautifully. They also serve a choice of their house batch brew filter, or a reliably good hand brewed filter via V60. Guest roasters are usually sourced from a number of Nordic roasters and even further afield from Europe’s top roasters.

Perhaps the most eye catching feature upon entering the fairly understated doorway is the amazing display of exotic baked treats that seem to stretch as far as the eye can see. Everything from cinnamon and cardamom buns to small tarts, pastries, and doughnuts, all made in Stockholm at their bakery location. Walls of exposed brick and light marble surfaces make for a familiar and cosy feel to many. Sit and enjoy a delicious treat or two in the morning before it gets busy or come back when it’s busy and hectic for a lunch dish.
