Central Bean (Gallowgate)

Located in the Gallowgate area of Newcastle City Centre, Central Bean Coffee House is situated right in the heart of the one of the growing creative hubs in the city. 

The area has been redeveloped in recent years, with former industrial buildings being re-purposed as office space and hospitality venues - and Central Bean certainly follows this trend in its interior design.

The cafe retains important features from its not so distant industrial past, which adds a real charm and quirkiness to the experience of grabbing a coffee. 

The counter is probably the most unique feature of the cafe, centrally based in a wraparound design, it mirrors old style bars with service points at different points of the cafe - with plenty of quiet corners dotted across the floor if you prefer your coffee in peace.
