Charlie's Coffee & Company

Charlie’s is a cosy and welcoming café just a ten minute walk from the station. With white walls and industrial fittings, it still manages to be a warm and comfortable place to enjoy a special blend coffee from Has Bean, made bespoke for the café.

Charlie’s offers a small selection of sandwiches but a wide choice of homemade cookies and cakes is the main draw in the food department – the mini lemon drizzle cakes come particularly recommended. The cafe also hosts booze and dinner nights from time to time – check the website for details – but is not otherwise licensed for serving alcohol. WiFi is not available, a conscious choice to encourage conversation, and the toilets and baby change facilities are next door, but Charlie's customers are very welcome to use them.
