This local artisanal coffee company, with a large Bushwick roastery, has a beautiful small shop here on the edge of the East Village. City of Saints features espresso, pour-over, and a truly standout cold brew, which they make using their own distinct roast and processing, making for a particularly fruit-forward and flavorful drink. It’s running on tap in all of their shops, year-round, and while you are here you can also grab a treat from Doughnut Plant or Colson, or a cold-pressed juice or other upscale soft drink from their cold case.

This café is a low-ceilinged, thoughtfully designed room, and it attracts a very arty downtown crowd, working on laptops, chatting in a corner, or just enjoying an afternoon downtown. Definitely worth a visit, these guys are still a small company, but from farm to cup they deliver a truly delicious cup of coffee.
