‘What’s happening here?’ You’d be excused to wonder when entering this Israeli-influenced cafe / restaurant / record store. An awful lot it seems. Records spin in the front room for all to enjoy, while personal turntables and earphones are available in the rear. Beans from The Barn are pulled on a retro Wega and accompanied by a menu inspired by Tel Aviv’s cultural district along Gordon Street - think freshly baked pita bread, hummus platters, shakshuka, and bourek for those in a rush. The scope is wide, but it’s an enjoyable place to relax with a coffee and listen to some tunes.
