HATCH is a restaurant-cum-café in the centre of St. Albans, serving up Campbell & Syme coffee for espresso-based drinks alongside a full, and tasty, food menu. The emphasis is on brunch-style items, sandwiches, and burgers, but some more sizeable main plates are available. There's no issue with popping in simply to enjoy a coffee, though, and you won't be disappointed.

The venue itself is cosy enough to be welcoming, but large enough not to be cramped. There are some larger tables for groups or sharing, and a sprinkling of smaller ones should you be on your own or in a two. The exposed brick, wood finishes, and warm, dim lighting create a relaxed ambience, and the amaretto hot chocolate probably helps too! Whether you need a simple cup of joe or something more substantial, HATCH has you covered.
