Kavalleriet Café
Sibyllegatan 2, 114 51 Stockholm, Sweden
Editor's Review
As one of a series of cafes in striking and convenient locations, Kavalleriet is a neat addition to the Stockholm cafe scene in an old cavalry building. It houses a cavernous interior and a huge outdoor terrace area, sharing a building with The Performing Arts Museum in Stockholm’s Östermalm district, this is the perfect place just off the water to enjoy a great batch brew and a carefully curated meal before walking along the front to the museum island, Djurgården.
Serving illustrious Swedish roasters Per Nordby and Koppi coffee roasters via a batch brew and espresso based drinks from a very smart Synesso, they are bound to have something for your tastes. They also serve an excellent range of salads and danish open sandwiches as well as offering alcoholic drinks for those who can afford alcohol in Sweden.
Aside from a large amounts of space indoors, they also have a huge outdoor seating area with a dedicated bar, and on the day of our visit was filled with lunching locals, enjoying the sunshine and tree shaded areas.
