Seven Point Espresso
637 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, 11238
Editor's Review
A light-filled corner cafe that is run by a friendly and fun Australian crew – the owners of Seven Point have several cafes and restaurants back in Melbourne and Windsor, and their experience shows in their first Brooklyn spot, which opened in 2016. The food menu is small but still full of surprises, and has something for everyone – try the Tim Tam Waffin, a chocolate Muffin cooked in a waffle iron with some incredible toppings, or on the other hand, a delicious and healthful Acai Bowl. And the "breakfast pasta" is genius!
But the coffee is a serious focus here, with perfect espresso drinks, filter coffee, and teas, either to stay and enjoy in their fun and funky space, sit outside with one's four-legged friend, or grab on the run. This strip of Washington Ave. in Prospect Heights is exploding of late, and there are a lot of quality cafes within a short walk, but it's no surprise that Seven Point has become a neighborhood favorite.
