If you live anywhere near Putney, Social Brew & Social Raw is a must. In fact, even if you don’t live in the area, it’s worth a journey. A stroll along the riverbank by Putney Bridge will take you towards this South London café with an Aussie twang, and you’ll feel all the better for it. The quality coffee is supplied by Taylor St. Baristas, the juices are as refreshing as the smoothies are inventive, and there is an endless list of alternative milks (Soy, Almond, Hazelnut, Rice, I could go on…), but food is the big hitter here. And the theme is health.

The counter is full of acai bowls, unmissable vegan creations and homemade raw delights. The décor is fairly basic but decorated with green – green plants dangle amongst packets and packets of green Social-branded ingredients and foodstuffs – nuts, seeds, oils, etc. More than just a café, it is a way of eating that you will be inspired to take away with you.
