Coffee Roaster Introduction: Established Coffee Roasters

Coffee Roaster Introduction: Established Coffee Roasters

Best Coffee's roastery guide is a compilation of the very best, tried & tested coffee roasters from around the world. We’ve hand-selected a small collection of amazing coffees for you to sample. Not all coffees are created equal, and not all coffees make it into our shop. So we’re starting a series of articles shining a light on our chosen roasteries to explain why we picked them for your drinking delight.

Established Coffee Roasters

Where: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Who: A team of Belfast-based coffee perfectionists

Since when: December 2013

Why: We’re delighted to be featuring Established coffee in our subscription boxes. Not only were we excited at the prospect of spreading the word about this incredible coffee roaster, we also couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get our hands on the Aeropress Championship coffee!

What’s the story: Established have made it their mission to bring top-quality food and coffee to the people of Belfast. They quickly became an unmissable feature in Norhern Ireland’s specialty coffee culture and are now respected industry leaders within both coffee and hospitality.

Our favourite coffee:

Established Coffee - Ajicito, Colombia - 1kg Filter Coffee Beans

Ajicito, Colombia – This filter coffee is something really special. Roasted especially for the NI Aeropress championships, this Colombian coffee was produced by ASMUCAFE, an association of female-only growers.

After undergoing double fermentation, and being roasted to perfection, this coffee has notes of white grape, pear and chocolate.
