The WBC competition will take place at the Amsterdam World of Coffee on 21st to 23rd June this year.

When did you fall in love with coffee?

Two years ago, when I met a bunch of passionate people that I'm still working with. My barista fellas have inspired me a lot ever since.

What was your first coffee job?

As a waitress at a café, until one day when I drank an awful cup of coffee then decided to learn how to make a proper cup by myself.

If you didn’t work in coffee, what would you do?

As a French teacher, as is my mother's wish. I'm studying French education in university at the moment.

What exceptional coffee will you be using in the WBCs in Amsterdam? Tell us about the coffee and what it tastes like.

It's a rare variety from Colombia. I want to support the new variety instead of focus only on the Geisha like everybody usually does. The coffee has dominant citrus fruit flavours with juicy mouthfeel that will brighten up your day!

Who would you most like to make coffee for and why?

I would say anybody. I love the feeling when people drink my coffee and ask for another cup. But, actually, my boss, who has a fastidious taste, is the person that I've always wanted to make a perfect cup.

Who would play you in the story of your life?

Not sure. But I'd like to cast Emma Watson, she's classy, fun, independent...actually, I want to pick her just because she's gorgeous.

If you opened a café today, what would be on your first day playlist?

Pharrel Williams, Macklemore, Coldplay, Panic at the Disco, Dean, and Rihanna.

What’s your favourite way to make coffee?

A flavourful V60 cup is my favourite.

What are you most excited about in coffee?

There is always something new to learn everyday about coffee, so it will never get bored!
