Set in the north east corner of Old Spitalfields Market, this small shop has a surprisingly generous amount of seating with plenty of seats in the covered market. Department of Coffee and Social Affairs, to use their full title, have redesigned their coffee offer in their family of coffee shops to ensure consistency. Their cafes all have a choice of espressos and batch brew filter with delicious coffee roasted by Dumo Mathema who heads up The Roastery Department. Cakes are from Dee-light.
