Nude Coffee Roasters have perhaps the closest concentration of coffee shops of any small coffee brand.  With their original shop up on Hanbury St., they have expanded outwards to a radius of about half a mile - all handily serviced from their nearby roastery which doubles up as a shop.

The newest edition (opening 2017) to the portfolio is nestled in Old Spitalfields Market - a few minutes walk from either Brick Lane or Liverpool St. station. The fit out is functional and there's a good buzz without it being overbearing.  Plenty of seats and some window bars to watch the world go by, then a large communal table as a fall back plan if you're unable to follow the British tradition of sitting as far away from everyone else as possible!

The coffee is, of course, Nude's own roast which has proven to be a significant presence in the UK's third wave coffee scene - both in cafés and at home.  Spitalfields Market has worked hard to retain some historic charm, independent operators whilst accommodating some larger chains.   It's great to see Nude Espresso, Derpartment and Climpsons and Son's pick up space in this bustling market.
