Now that enough years have passed for the dust to have settled over the refurb controversial with locals that took this roastery-cafe from ‘well loved’ to an award winning interior, Redroaster is widely regarded as the best place in town to while away a morning. The airy, botanical filled space has plenty of table and bar seating, with outside seating out front and in the rear garden.

As the only certified organic roastery in the south, they have a range of beans to choose from both to drink in or take home, with a discount if you bring the packaging back to be reused. My flat white, made with the house Brazilian blend, was well rounded and chocolatey-rich. Pair this with one of the amazing brunch dishes.
