The Greenpoint location of this popular Brooklyn roaster and mini-cafe-chain is just a sliver of a spot with a straightforward menu of coffees and a couple of pastry treats. It's on a quiet block in an area that is populated with both old time locals and the always-growing hipster scene and this café serves all equally, with a no nonsense approach to great coffee.

There are a couple of small tables inside, and a bench out front, but the biggest draw here may be Monsignor McGolrick Park, which sits just across the street – it's a truly lovely and serene place to drink a coffee, watch some dogs and neighborhood kids frolic, and generally take in a beautiful Brooklyn day. And remember to grab a package of the excellent house roast to take back home with you, or one of their bottled cold brews to go.
