4850
Camperstraat 48-50, 1091 AH Amsterdam, Netherlands
Editor's Review
It's very rare to find a place like 4850. This is because most places that serve food, coffee, and wine pick one to really specialise in (or maybe a couple). 4850 excels in each area.
The food is spectacular - small plates crafted from beautiful ingredients. The wine list is extensive and, using the Coravin technique (basically extracting the wine from the bottle using a needle), they are able to serve aged wines by the glass. The coffee also shines, whether served as a filter or with milk.
The interior has been designed cleverly with several tables to sit more formally and a smaller area reserved for more casual seating. 4850 is a true gem and, regardless of where you are staying in Amsterdam, you need to visit.
