This is Attendant’s third café, on the site of the former Sampa Café. Leather Lane is well catered for in terms of coffeeshops but each establishment here does offer something different. With Attendant it’s the large kitchen space downstairs and the curved architecture of a comer spot, reflecting the structure of the Edwardian Bourne Housing Estate opposite. Inside, the whitewashed walls and white tiles give a spacious feel and acts as a retreat from the busy feel of the market.

Coffee, roasted by Attendant is available for espresso based drinks and filter via v60 or Aeropress as well as batch brew. Loose leaf tea is from Blends for Friends. Milk is from the Estate Dairy. The food is Australian inspired and seasonal: a wide range of breakfast options and seasonal brunches and lunches. All served until four.
