Bühler and Co is a great café near the Bell Corner in Walthamstow serving top notch Climpson & Sons coffee and great food by chef Jodi Klein. Friendly and welcoming, this is a gem of the local neighbourhood with plenty of regulars but also worth a journey to visit. The café doesn’t appear large when you first enter but there is room for 60 seated owing to creative use of space, divided into three rooms. Bühler is a name of Swiss origin and the family name of sisters Meg and Rosie who ensure that the atmosphere reflects their attention to detail and hospitality.

Climpson & Sons coffee is on point here and, indeed, the roastery recommend Bühler and Co as a place to drink their coffee. You can also have a v60 pourover or cold brew. Milk is by The Estate Dairy. The menu is globally inspired and the kind of great vegetarian food that you can eat and enjoy without even noticing the absence of meat. The Indian inspired Vege Fry Up is essential. Everything is made fresh daily, including cakes and pastries. Bread is from E17’s Today Bread and vegetables from Natoora. Bühler and Co have an alcohol license and offer beers from Kernel and Brew by Numbers, are famed for their Bloody Marys and plan to hold special evening openings for events.
