So – when Tufnell Park gets its own specialty coffee shop, you know the London coffee scene is really booming. What’s more, Bear + Wolf is unique in its offer, with a full playroom, buggy parking and extensive changing and baby facilities attracting large numbers of parents and babies. Elsewhere, long tables encourage a community feel and we’ve often found ourselves in conversation with our neighbours in this friendly café. Friendliness extends to the hard working staff who’ve been happy to remake my coffee on the odd occasion it has been served a little over-hot for my tastes.

Coffee is from Ozone and a range of food: waffles, bacon and eggs, halloumi rolls, kids menus, smoothies and juices ensure this is a busy place at lunchtimes. Pets are welcome. Bear + Wolf has been designed to meet local needs and seems a great fit for its environment – suiting well Tufnell Park and I’m sure it is much appreciated by locals and occasional visitors alike. Try to get the sunny front table spot if you can!
