Bay Area-bred Blue Bottle Coffee is truly committed to the experience of coffee, with this petite Dean Street storefront mirroring the tucked-away cafes of Tokyo (and Hayes Valley, San Francisco) while still bringing in the fresh air and sending good coffee vibes out to all of Boerum Hill. Inside, accents of warm wood, marble counters, and dark grey paint make for a tasteful coffee experience, with decor said to be inspired by Proust's cork-lined Parisian bedroom. 

Though it's mostly standing-room only in here, bar seating makes space for a phone check or an intimate chat. Like all Blue Bottle locations, this spot does filter brew exclusively on pour-over, while the Hayes Valley and single origin espressos are served from an ornate custom-designed La Marzocco Strada, allowing a wide variety in a small space. Non-dairy options include soy and almond milk, and food includes house-made pastries and takeaway servings of chia and yogurt puddings.
