Bold Street Coffee has established itself as the main go-to spot for independent coffee in Liverpool city centre. Now based in Santa Maluco on Castle Street, the café was something of a first in the city centre, responding to a lack of independent coffee and setting a trend that others have followed. They have strived to keep their high standards of both coffee and food, generating a loyal fan base in the process.

Their food menu has increased significantly, with breakfast/brunch dishes being added to the brilliant counter selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes, pastries and biscotti. Scrambled eggs on toast, with mushrooms, avocado and a new speciality of spicy Venezuelan eggs washed down with barista crafted coffee makes for perfect weekday and weekend fare. The extensive range of coffee varies from house espresso Has Bean shots, to guest pour overs from across the globe, with African and South American blends particularly popular with the locals.
