Clearly the local favourite - and deservedly so - Brickwood is a bustling large cafe on the northeast corner of Clapham Common. The stripped back design, exposed brick, coarse fixtures and imaginatively decorated ceiling all serve as a back drop to the gorgeous La Marzocco FB80 on the coffee bar.

Caravan beans are confidently handled on the machine and filter coffee will soon be available.

The cafe offers plenty of seating and a sunny patio in the rear.
