Burr Coffee is one of a growing group of coffee shops on Lendal, in York city centre, that offers a caffeine hit right in the middle of historic surroundings.
Set just back from the main street, under a stylish outside canopy, Burr Coffee benefits from a huge front window that floods the cafe with natural light as you enjoy our coffee and lunch.

It is a little smaller than other coffee shops in the local area, with the counter and indoor seating area close to the entrance, but it opens up to include plenty of light filled corners.

Their coffee offering is wide, with scope to increase brewing methods in the near future, and they have an excellent food menu based on both local produce and a European twist.

Dishes on menu include, 'Bakehouse' toast (sourced from different local bakeries), homemade banana bread and Danish Smørrebrød alongside the usual brunch classics.
