Coffee Alchemy
24 Addison Rd, Marrickville NSW 2204, Australia
Editor's Review
Coffee Alchemy has a bit more of a traditional setup than what you might be used to seeing in specialty cafés. Inside is lined with up to six options of single origin and blends in glass canisters, weighed to scale right in front of you rather than pre-packaged (not to say they aren’t great options).
The place feels like a market place to purchase beans where you can sit and enjoy your cup. The coffee is roasted by some of Sydney’s original and most prominent roasters and have a reputation of producing a really bold cup and packed cup of coffee.
On Sunday’s, next door doubles up as their takeaway bar, there are a couple of small wooden pews for seating. It’s a minimal set up with some small snacks and limited option for coffee but picked well to serve it’s purpose.
