Coffee Chocolate and Tea
944 Argyle St, Glasgow G3 8YJ, UK
Editor's Review
Glasgow’s former industrial heartland Finnieston now feels like a cultural mecca, full of great places to eat and things to do. This unassuming cafe sits just on its fringes, quietly roasting and pouring some of the best coffee the city has to offer.
When you go in, you’re immediately greeted by a warm, red-coloured coffee roaster right next to the counter - if you’re lucky enough you might even catch them just as the beans are pouring out, filling the cafe with the scent of roasted coffee. Given the cafe’s other speciality is handmade chocolate truffles, it’s a fairly heady aroma all round.
With CC&T making everything in-house, they’re on hand to advise which of their beans are best suited to your chosen cup, be that espresso, V60, pourover or chemex. Their commitment to this quality throughout the seasons mean you’ll always get something a little different every time, whether that be tart, fruit blackberry notes in your black americano, or warm toffee sweetness in a flat white. Repeated trips are a must here.
