Coffee Commissary is the name you've never heard of till someone mentions it to you—then you start seeing it everywhere. These underdogs have several locations throughout Los Angeles, from the Valley to Burbank and Culver City, and all offer a solid selection of coffees and good vibes.

The Culver City café is a homey and low-key outpost with airy seating and ample working surfaces. Unlike many bright, sunny cafés in the city, this one takes a step back to provide a little more shade and approachable space for the neighborhood. Inside you'll get some modern industrial vibes at this Coffee Commissary thanks to the cement floors, exposed ceilings, and ivy-covered walls that make for a photo-worthy experience.

With a simple menu of espresso drinks and pastries sourced from the company commissary, however, this space is truly is a no-frills experience, a place where everyone can grab a brew and simply relax. When you're ready to talk coffee though, the baristas are here to chat it up.
