Though it's a small spot on a busy corner by the subway (Newkirk Plaza B/Q), with minimalist vibe and a rock and roll attitude (including a stack of vinyl that soundtracks your espresso), Coffee Mob is dead serious about their coffee.

Owner Buck, who you will often find behind their fully manual La Marzocco GB5 MP, roasts his own beans, and he often sources them as well. He loves to talk origin and methodology, and while Coffee Mob will satisfy just about any coffee geek, it's also a great place to grab and go, or take a moment to enjoy a latte in this sunny slice of Ditmas Park (though seating is tight, and there is always a bit of a crowd). Brew methods are abundant and the feeling here is very coffee-forward, and they also carry a nice selection of pastries and bagels, including several vegan and gluten-free options, including treats from local favorites Clementine and Ovenly.
