Colonna & Small's has established a reputation that extends well beyond the beautiful city of Bath, attracting coffee pilgrims from across the U.K. and beyond. It's easy to see why. From the stylish, newly installed Modbar machine, to the clean wooden lines and stylish interior of the venue, Colonna & Smalls is a coffee lovers paradise. The café offers a range of Colonna's own single origins, both as espresso and filter. The staff are extremely knowlegdable and happy to chat about the offerings, but never in a way that makes the customer feel ill-informed. You can also pick up the wide range of Colonna beans and capsules for home-brewing.

There is a small seating area outside down some stairs at the back, should the weather be sufficiently clement, and a small food offering of cakes and pastries to accompany the coffee. High, wide windows offer a view onto the street, and inside there are tables and some additional seating near the front of the venue if you don't plan to stay for long.

But you should – Colonna & Small's takes its coffee seriously and it's excellent.
