Cornersmith's reputation is felt far across Australia in the power of its pickling, preserving, and fermenting revolution, so it might be strange to set foot in this humble corner store and see that where it all began is just a regular ol' neighbourhood café. Of course, it's busy - but there's still plenty of comfortable spots to perch and chat to folks in one of Sydney's most colourful and integral community suburbs. 

The rustic interior is lined with jars and books, with an ever-changing menu written on chalkboards high above it all for you to peruse. The coffee is served without fuss, but don't let that fool you - much like the humble presentation of the food, there is a lot of love and care behind the scenes to ensure things are delicious and top-notch for you. Rotating single origins from Mecca and Sample are more than enough to keep espresso and filter fans occupied.

If you're up for it, trust the brilliant team here to pick some things for you to try - because chances are there'll be some delicious things you haven't come across before.
