Who doesn’t love a good neighbourhood coffeeshop? The kind of spot you can visit and be recognised and maybe even have a regular order. The ‘Friends’ of coffee. Places like Cricks Corner function as more than cafés, serving as local hubs of high social value as the pub declines as daytime drinking is considered less acceptable than once. The best neighbourhood cafés of course, also serve excellent coffee and Cricks Corner is firmly in this category.

As well as espresso and filter coffee from Dark Arts, Cricks Corner serve bacon baps, avocado on toast, sandwiches, pastries and cakes. Suppliers include Seven Seeded & Spence Bakeries (bread & pastries), St Johns bakery (doughnuts, Eccles cakes), Jacques & Lilie (French patisseries), O’Shea’s Butchers (Bacon) and Bread by Bike (cinnamon buns). There are a range of products to buy, including coffee beans as well as bread, sauces, condiments, KeepCups and seasonal cards and products.
