Dinosaur Coffee is the eccentric one in your circle of friends—that being said, you can expect to make a lot more friends at this Sunset Boulevard coffee hang, whether it's with the massive amount of regulars that frequent the café or the quirky and affable baristas themselves.

For anyone looking to stumble upon a celebrity or simply run into someone you know (this city is smaller than people realize), look no further—many screenwriters, small-time actors, and others in the industry flock here to work on their next masterpieces. It's hard not to find yourself lazily lounging here for hours at a time. Despite the lack of WiFi, the spacious interior has an array of seating, encouraging you to stick around to ponder the endearing elements of wacky and chic decor throughout the café, from the dressed up plush penguin to the tiny succulents resting on the shelves.

While Dogwood Coffee provides the roasts for this reliable spot, take a gander at the artisanal sodas designed by the manager too, and be sure to come on weekends for bagel truck visits.
