Eightfold Coffee, a café nestled on a quaint stretch of Sunset Boulevard in Elysian Heights, came at the peak of the city's newfound love for white-walled Scandinavian minimalism. The interior design honors every aspect of this style, from just the right number of houseplants to the spacious high ceilings of exposed piping. Concrete floors and painted white brick complete the look, creating a sense of ease in the space of laptop users and pre-baseball game caffeine crawlers. 

The café has hours that run just late enough for Dodger fans who need a brew just a couple blocks away, along with a Guisados taco. Have you ever heard of a more appropriate LA combo? Eightfold's coffee program proudly boasts roasts from Heart, which are used for standard milk beverages and the occasional sweet seasonal special.

Along with a wide arrangement of teas from Ippodo, the café also has a health-forward selection of breakfast snacks and pastries, plus to-go containers of Jeni's ice cream—more award winning combos.
