Engine Room is a fun-filled cafe and a must-see if you are heading to North Perth. It is famous for it's witty menu and floor to ceiling mural depicting fire-fighting equipment, which is appropriate as it was originally set up by a group of Fire Fighters! They stock a large selection of non-dairy milk alternatives and a good selection of bagels, pastries, breakfast pots and lots of delicious fruit breads. There are a few seats inside but the best spot is the sunny courtyard at the back, which holds just one table - perfect for a morning coffee.
