Equator Coffees & Teas (Downtown)
986 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94102, USA
Editor's Review
Marin County's Equator Coffees & Teas opened its first San Francisco cafe location here in the historical Warfield building in 2015, 20 years after its inception in 1995. The company has been recognized for its many business and community accomplishments. In 2016, the roaster-retailer became the first LBGTQ-couple-owned business to win the National Small Business of the Year award from the US Small Business Association. And in 2011, Equator became B Corp certified, cementing its commitment to ethical business practices and community growth programs.
The downtown cafe location offers a wide menu for all types of imbibers, from standard pour-overs to espresso shakeratos to the gluten-removed, locally brewed Sufferfest beer. Take a moment on the patio to enjoy a quiche or grab a sandwich to go for your park picnic. Equator’s Downtown SF cafe is an enjoyable oasis whether you’re scheduling a business meeting or taking a break from shopping.
