Twin Peaks isn't the only place to get "damn fine coffee" – Everyman Espresso borrowed the slogan and has done it justice. This is also the home of the "sexy cappuccino," which is simply a cappuccino so good they needed a flashier way to describe it. Apart from that you get a full range of well-made espresso and coffee drinks, with sweet pastries from Colson Patisserie and Underwest Donuts (try dunking a stroopwafel donut in your coffee).

The shop is fully installed in the lobby of the Classic Stage Company theater, which means the customers are a mix of locals, NYU students and, later in the day, theatergoers. The space’s spartan design isn’t without its style points: the counter extends along a half circle from the theater’s box office, and oversize posters of Shakespeare productions (and whatever else is on the theater’s schedule) adorn the walls.
