Ezra and Gil occupy a fantastic space in the heart of the Northern Quarter, serving up Union coffee and a large range of food options. Filters are available as pour over or French press. As well as a full range of deli-style provisions, including fresh vegetables and eggs, you can sit in and enjoy a strong menu of breakfast options, toasties, and salads, all created in an open kitchen visible from the floor. Gluten and dairy free options are available.

Unsurprisingly for a café owned by a dog-lover, dogs are not only very welcome but there are water bowls and free dog treats for them. There's a lot of space in which to work (or show off your handsome Pomeranian), and the venue is in a great location for creative workers and shopping visitors to Manchester's trendiest area – despite this, though, the café has a really relaxed, unpretentious vibe.
