Filter and Fox
27 Duke St, Liverpool L1 5AP, UK
Editor's Review
Filter and Fox advertises itself as a cafe/bar/hideout, and it has become exactly that for the residents of Duke Street and those in need of caffeine and brilliant cocktails. Duke Street has developed into a popular spot for shoppers as a shortcut into the Liverpool ONE shopping area, with cafes popping up in the area – however, Filter and Fox remains a firm favourite.
The tiny corner hideout has developed a reputation as one of the go-to hangouts for hospitality industry staff in Liverpool, with a real community vibe and cosy surroundings in the bar area. The coffee, always served with a wafer and a glass of ice cold water is just part of their excellent offering, with their bespoke cocktails, designed by experienced bartenders, amongst the very best in the city. Alongside a breakfast and lunch menu, the ‘Foxes’ also have a small plates menu for sharing, perfect for night time grazing and people watching.
