Five percent is a local hideaway in the outskirts of Belfast, which could easily be missed in a short row of shops with plenty of easy parking. Upon walking through the door you are made to feel right at home and feel as though you’re part of the family. 

There is a warm atmosphere with many locals enjoying the food and drink on offer and using the coffee shop as a meeting point. The café has a minimalist, aesthetic feel to it with bare, half-painted walls and tiled floor, which contribute to the local, relaxed character of the interior.

When entering, you will be shown to a seat and left with a menu, which whilst limited, offers high quality food and drink made fresh in the open kitchen. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful in taking you through the coffees on offer and take time when making your drink with some very tasty blends from The Barn roastery. This is a hidden gem on the Belfast coffee scene and is well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
