Fleet Street Press
3 Fleet Street, EC4Y 1AU
Editor's Review
Fleet Street Press (aka Press Coffee & Co) is named after the street it inhabits: the home of the British news press until the 1980s. Located opposite the Royal Courts of Justice and just down the road from Twinings shop (coffee importers since 1706) - the café manages to bring decent coffee to the area in a relaxed setting.
Formerly serving Butterworth and Sons, Fleet Street Press are now serving coffee they've roasted in house. Hot chocolate is by Kokoa Collection and an impressive range of loose leaf teas from London Leaf.
A nice link with the Fleet Street of old is a partnership with London Press Photographers to display and sell their work. Beans and coffee equipment are also on sale.
