Full Court Press, owned by well-known coffee expert Mat North, is a staple of Bristol's coffee scene. Named after the basketball manoeuvre, it offers excellent coffee, cakes and pastries from the local Hart's Bakery, and also runs brewing courses at an affordable price.

Inside has a very clean feel and has a reasonable amount of seating. The downstairs area is accessed by a beautiful spiral staircase and leads to a light, open room with a table that's perfect for a larger group.

The coffee is well curated and is changed regularly using speciality coffee produced by roasters such as Roundhill and Square Mile. It's a shop that clearly knows its stuff and always aims to give a great experience.
