Gast Café

Gast cafe is a great example of some of the high quality fit out and beautiful interiors that can be seen in the speciality coffee scene in Stockholm. Located in a pretty northern central part of the city and sporting an eye catching interior, this is a lovely and serene yet vibrant cafe to meet friends for lunch at. Gast serves excellent coffee and equally excellent food and fika. 
 
Gast serves a number of top flight Swedish roasters, rotating between them in Espresso and Filter options. Besides excellent espresso based drinks, they usually have at least 2 high quality batch brew options that are consistently well extracted. Usually you can rely on several of the coffee options here to be roasted by Koppi coffee roasters, who will be a name familiar to many visitors both domestic and international. 
 
The Fika options here are very good, with plenty of sweet treats to suit all appetites. They also serve a very divine selection of salad bowls and light cafe lunch dishes for those looking for something a little more savory. The attention to detail for the interior of this cafe makes a visible impact with soft pink walls and warm lights and plants create a cosy feeling to what would otherwise be quite a mediterreanean look. They have significantly expanded the indoor seating space since original opening and yet it remains busy, proving that it provides an cafe escape that people love to come back to.
