Gimme! Pulled their first espresso in Ithaca New York back in 2000, and along with several other upstate locations, they have been caffeinating Nolita, and a couple of Williamsburg, Brooklyn locations, for some time now. They have been roasting for a good long time as well, and feature multiple single-origin beans from across Latin America and Africa, as well as no fewer than seven proprietary blends.

This shop is small, pretty much standing-room only, but really, isn’t that the proper way to down a delicious espresso? There is a nice bench out front though, and this neighborhood is tops for people watching. Food options include some pastries from Colson, and a selection of raw treats from Brooklyn’s own Bliss Balls. Though it’s really just a sliver of a space, designed for the to-go crowd, Gimme! does have two features more common in full-size cafes that you may appreciate – WiFi, and a bathroom!
