Grace & Taylor on King Street
3/292 King St, Newtown NSW 2042, Australia
Editor's Review
Grace & Taylor was one of the first roasteries to rise to success through the CRS shared roasting facility in nearby St Peters. They have based their coffee sourcing philosophy on a strong set of values, and are active members of the coffee community through their involvement in competitions and industry events.
Located on a busy stretch of Newtown’s iconic King Street, this tiny space has just enough room inside for a few customers at a time - it’s pretty much standing room only here. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is inviting and the coffee menu is surprisingly extensive - their 'Specialty' coffee menu features two blend options and some solid batch or cold brewed single origins whilst their 'Extraordinary' coffee menu features a range of top-shelf options all the way up to a Colombian geisha ($12).
The retail shelves are stacked high with G&T’s full range of retail coffee beans - after all, this is their flagship space and they have a solid reputation with coffee fans around Sydney.
An important stop-off on any coffee tour of Sydney’s inner-west.
