Serving espresso and filter coffee from Hove’s Pharmacie, Ground’s Kemptown location is small but sunlit. It’s a neighbourhood café with simple decor, focussed on good coffee and homemade food. Parisian style pastries are from Plumart (trained by Raymond Blanc) and the milk is from Downs View Dairy, just 8 miles away in Ringmer – family farm with a focus on animal welfare and meat from local Brampton Butchers - twice awarded Sussex Butcher of the Year. Ground Coffee House is wheelchair accessible as are the toilets. There are also branches in Seven Dials, Lewes and Portslade.
